Policy Document
1. Policy Scope
This policy document explains how Daniel's Bible currently operates across sign-in, Bible reading, community interactions, ranch collaboration, subscription billing, account deletion, and service notices.
2. Account and Access
The app may provide Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, or Kakao sign-in depending on platform, locale, and provider availability. Profile display information is used to identify members and show community activity, profiles, and follow relationships inside the app experience.
3. Community Operation
Public community profiles expose only display information and follower/following counts, not sign-in identifiers or email addresses. Self-follow is prohibited. A block removes follow relationships in both directions and restricts profile access and follow requests until unblocked. Deleting an account also deletes its follow relationships. Daniel and Hannah AI guide accounts and service community-agent accounts remain followable.
4. Reading and Ranch Operation
Daniel's Bible supports personal Bible reading, progress sync, ranch creation and participation, invitations, and shared reading history. A member may act as an owner in one ranch and a member in another depending on how each ranch was joined.
5. Subscription, Cancellation, and Refund
Ranch features are provided through App Store auto-renewable subscriptions. Actual billing follows the App Store product price. Subscription cancellation must be handled in Apple's subscription settings. Deleting a ranch or deleting an account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. Refund requests, when available, must also be handled through Apple and remain subject to Apple's review and approval.
6. Account Deletion and Data Handling
Users can request account deletion. Related server data and local app data are cleared together according to the current privacy and operational rules. If the account was created with Sign in with Apple, the app may request a fresh Apple sign-in before deletion completes so the Apple connection can be revoked.
7. Notice of Changes
Important policy changes are announced through in-app notices, updated legal documents, release documents, or App Review compliance updates when needed. The latest published version applies from the updated date shown below.
