1. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Daniel's Bible processes personal data for sign-in authentication (Kakao/Google), reading progress sync, ranch invite/join/activity display, and service stability and error analysis.

2. Data We Process

• Sign-in identifiers and profile display data from Kakao/Google
• Reading records (book/chapter/verse, reading timestamp, progress position)
• Membership, invite, and activity statistics for ranch features
• Important action-result messages stored in notification inbox
• Device and access metadata for error analysis and performance improvements

3. Retention and Use Period

Account, reading, and ranch data stored on the server are retained within the service purpose scope. Local notification inbox keeps up to 20 latest items for up to 1 month and is removed when the app is deleted.

4. Third-Party Services

External platforms are used only where required for Kakao/Google sign-in and Apple purchase processing. Personal data is not shared with third parties arbitrarily unless required by law.

5. User Rights

Users can request account deletion. Related server and local app data are cleared together. Some payment records that must be retained for legal or operational reasons may be preserved by separate policy.

6. Notice of Changes

Changes to this privacy policy are announced through in-app notices or release documents. Major policy changes are highlighted again in app menu and notice channels.
